Sofia Kay

Beginning at only 12 years old, Toronto-based singersongwriter Sofia Kay has garnered many key awards for her songwriting talents, including the the International UK Songwriting Contest Under 18s Category in 2019 with her song “Seoul.” She recently released “Seoul” as a single, and it was featured on Spotify’s “Dope AF” and “Beast Meets West” playlists, as well as Apple Music’s “Future Hits Korea.” Her second single “Dance with You” was on New Music Friday Canada. At only 14 years old, Sofia cowrote her first cut as a professional songwriter for K-Pop sensation TXT (Big Hit) on the song “Way Home.” Sofia also won the International UK Songwriting Contest Under 18s Category in 2019 with her song “Seoul” and has won or been a finalist in contests such as Unsigned Only and the John Lennon Songwriting Competition with songs “Tea Shop,” “Astronomy Rose” and more.
